The primary goal of Angels' Place is that through our program, student parents will receive the opportunity and resources necessary to:
� Complete Secondary / Post Secondary Education
� Address domestic violence issues
� Improve ability to strategize and solve problems

� Enhance employment opportunities and income
� Increase knowledge of effective parenting practices / child development
� Increase confidence in self as parent
� Prevent incidence of child abuse
� Assume active role as primary teacher in his / her child's life
� Increase knowledge of good nutrition
� Improve conflict resolution skills
� Increase reasoning and negotiation skills
� Increase psychological well-being and stress management
� Improve healthy relationships and quality of parent / child interactions.
� Replace corporal punishment with positive alternatives as a form of discipline.

While their children have the opportunity to:
� Achieve school readiness
� Have access to medical and dental care / primary care provider
� Have up-to-date immunizations
� Experience improved health
� Have developmental delays detected and addressed
� Receive referral of delays to outside services
� Demonstrate age-appropriate play
